TYLER LOCKETT + LAUREN JACKSON
2011 BTW grad TYLER LOCKETT propsed to Houston native LAUREN JACKSON on September 10, 2022. Lockett, #16, now a veteran Wide Receiver for the NFL SEATTLE SEAHAWKS, Lockett helped lead the HORNETS to Oklahoma high school State Championships in both football and basketball. The answer was "Yes" from Lauren Jackson, a recent Fashion Merchandising grad from TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY.

SHORE UP YOUR ARTS ORGANIZATION IN 2023/24
VISION 4 ARTS GRANT APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
Local nonprofit arts organizations are invited to apply for the fourth round of Vision Arts grants managed by the City of Tulsa, Tulsa Arts Commission and Tulsa Planning Office. Vision Arts 4 applications opened on Oct. 1, 2022. These grants support nonprofit art organizations in creating economic development opportunities in Tulsa.
Vision Arts has been made possible by $2,250,000 approved by voters in 2016 as part of the Vision Tulsa capital package to support the arts in Tulsa and enhance their economic impact. These grants are scheduled for regular distribution during the Vision Tulsa program. So far $600,000 has been distributed in grants to Tulsa arts organizations
The Tulsa Arts Commission is hosting virtual information sessions at these dates and times:

Oct. 12 at 3 p.m.

Oct. 28 at 9 a.m.

Nov. 7 at 6 p.m.
Nov. 19 at 11 a.m.
Information about the program, how to apply, and how to join the virtual sessions is available at www.tulsaplanning.org/visionarts
The deadline to apply is Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022 at 5 p.m. After the winners are announced next year, grant recipients have from Saturday, July 1, 2023, until Sunday, June 30,2024 to use the funding for eligible expenses.
