LANGSTON [M] Kansas City, MO  5p

LANGSTON [W]  Sioux City, IA  6p

According to AI..No schools have won both men's and women's NAIA championships simultaneously because the NAIA does not have championships for both men's and women's sports in every discipline. Friday's NAIA Championships opener was just the start, as the Langston Lions have took the first step to being the first...both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams won their SAC Championships. The Lady Lions opened with a win against Blue Mountain Christian and in Round 2 defeated Dakota Wesleyan 79-68. Thursday [3/20] the Round of 16 and #1 seed Dordt is next. LU Lions Men's Basketball team, off a 3-peat as SAC Champions, defeated St. Mary 64-51 in  Round 1 and Central Baptist 80-76 in Round 2.  College of Idaho awaits in the Round of 16 as the NAIA Men's Championship moves on to Kansas City, MO.
